ABOUT ME

I am currently the Museum Manager & Curator at the Timber Village Museum in Blind River, ON. I am a recent graduate of the Masters of Public History program at the University of Western Ontario, thew Applied Museum Studies program at Algonquin College and of McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in History.

Throughout my post-secondary career I have explored my passion for history and discovered a new interest in art history. It is my hope that in the future I will be able to use the knowledge and skills I have learned to explore the way history is conveyed to and perceived by the public.

I have had the pleasure of working in community museums including the Dundas Museum & Archives, the Guelph Civic Museum, and the Dufferin County Museum & Archives, as well as working for not-for-profit organizations including the Juno Beach Centre Association and corporate archives including the London Life Insurance Company and the National History Committee of the Canadian Society of Civil Engineering.

I enjoy reading, travelling, and being outdoors. I have been fortunate enough to travel to museums and historic sites across Europe and North America including The Met, The Smithsonians, The Bundeswehr Military History Museum, Auschwitz, Juno Beach, Vimy Ridge, Province House, Gettysburg, and The Globe Theatre.
